King’s College MSAT students participated in a hands-on, comprehensive mass casualty response simulation on Saturday, April 25, at the Frank and Carolyn Kowalski Center for Advanced Healthcare Education. The event allowed MSAT students to collaborate professionally and communicate with professionals from other disciplines outside of athletic training. Students provided emergency care and triage skills during the event alongside professionals from Geisinger Wyoming Valley and the Wilkes-Barre City Police Department, as well as other students from the nursing, criminal justice, physician assistant, occupational therapy, and healthcare administration programs.

MSAT YEAR 2 SPOTLIGHT

As the Year two students are preparing for graduation and the BOC exam in the next couple of weeks we would like to spotlight them in their remaining immersive experience

Next we would like to highlight Brandi McIntosh. She is currently at the University of Scranton. She is working with both Women’s and men’s lacrosse along with baseball.

Brandi says “I am loving the opportunity of working with competitive teams and beginning the transition from student to clinician with the guidance of my Preceptor Greg Jaindl (pictured) along with Mike, Paul, and Emily  (class of 2025 also pictured). “

Her goal after graduation is to work in the Wilkes-Barre Scranton area as an ATC providing whatever athletes or organizations that need her!
