Big thanks to everyone who came out to the Volunteer Fair yesterday! It was an amazing day exploring ways to give back and connecting with local non-profits.

Students got to chat with representatives, learn about great causes, sign up to volunteer, and even register to vote!

SERVE is back!

Last year, our students packed their bags, stepped outside their comfort zones, and spent their breaks serving communities, building relationships, and making memories they won’t forget.

Today was awesome! Our newest Monarchs — the Class of 2030 — started their King's journey with the CitySERVE 2026 Welcome Walk. Over 450 first-years, along with their HCE classes, walked through Wilkes-Barre to 14+ community sites, hearing about the work local nonprofits and agencies do — and where our students can get involved and volunteer. ❤️💛

This is just the start! This is just the start! Service, Community-Based Work Study, internships are other ways they can get involved in the community and neighborhood that's going to be part of their King's experience for the next four years.

Welcome, Monarchs. We can't wait to see what you do here. 👑

The 2026 honorees are: the Dorothy Day Award in Recognition of Four Years of Service--Matthew Prudente; the St. André Bessette Award for Service in the Spirit of the Congregation of Holy Cross--Bryanna Nelson; the King's College Community Service Honor Roll for extraordinary and exemplary service rendered by seniors: Cynthia Bednarski, Kevin Chlipala, Jayline Cruz, Skylar Garnett, Courtney Grogan, Samantha Hernandez, Stefan Lakoseljac, Devan Moses, Bryanna Nelson, Jayda Peart, Delilah Popp, Matthew Prudente, Maxwell Rosen, Giovanni Sariti, and Lynese Swida.
