Are you an early childhood educator who is passionate about working one-on-one with families? 👪 🏠 Our home-based Early Head Start program is hiring family educators to serve eligible families in the Wilkes-Barre area.

Qualifications:
▪️AAS degree in early childhood education/child development or closely related field (BS preferred)
▪️Experience in infant/toddler care with knowledge of child health, safety and nutrition, adult learning and family dynamics
▪️Experience instructing adults
▪️Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) preferred

Big changes are coming to Medicaid! Starting January 1, 2027, some Medicaid recipients in PA will need to meet work requirements and will need to have their Medicaid eligibility checked every six months instead of every year.

Preschool Teachers
-AA degree in early childhood education ($22.44/hour)
-Preferred: BS degree in early childhood education ($26.70/hour) with PA Certification in PK-4 Instructional I* ($27.88/hour)

Family Workers
-AAS degree in human services or related discipline
-Previous experience in community advocacy or social services preferred
-$18.92/hour base salary
