Bailey Fabiano and friends will hold a benefit dinner and concert on Saturday, June 20 at the Red Fern at 6 p.m. at the Red Fern to benefit FIRST skin foundation.
The event is designed to To enjoy an evening of Fabiano's favorite genre of music, to increase awareness about her skin disorder (ichthyosis), and to raise money for her favorite charity, FIRST. Bailey was born with lamellar Ichthyosis. She and her mom Tracie Pretak have been raising funds and awareness for 40 years. Both have served on FIRST's Board of Directors. "When Bailey was born, FIRST was a god-send and they have helped her every step of the way," Pretak said, "One of the most important things they do is to connect affected people, and when you are growing up "different," it is life-changing to meet someone like you who truly 'gets it'," She said.
