Funny story: The original check for the RCS Auction was written for “One hundred thousand thirty” (i.e., 100,030) and the bank wouldn’t take it! Luckily, we were able to get another check written. Here’s the 2nd grade AP kids supervising Father LaBenz as he signs the new check for $130,000!

Where in the World is the Resurrection Raven?
Something new is soaring into Resurrection this summer, and we can’t wait!
We are excited to introduce our brand-new school mascot: the Resurrection Raven! This fall, students will meet the Raven in a whole new way… in the form of a full mascot costume that will appear at sports events and special events throughout the year.
But before the Raven officially arrives at Resurrection, it’s going to enjoy the summer break with you all!
Families are invited to pick up or print a small Raven cutout and take it on their summer adventures. Snap photos with the Raven wherever you go—vacation destinations, local outings, or even just around town. Then email your photos (and location, plus a fun caption if you’d like!) to: [email protected]. Throughout the summer, we’ll share new sightings on social media and ask our parish and school family: “Where in the World is the Resurrection Raven?” Join in the fun by guessing locations in the comments!
Help Name the Raven
We’re also looking for the perfect name! Families and students are invited to submit mascot name ideas throughout the summer. We might even share some of the creative submissions along the way as the Raven makes its travels.
The Big Reveal
All summer long, the Raven will journey, gather memories, and earn its wings. Then, at the first school assembly of the year, the mystery will come to an end in a big reveal, and the Resurrection Raven will appear in full costume, ready to become an official part of our school spirit!

We will welcome back Fr. Meyerhoff this weekend for his Masses of Thanksgiving at Resurrection!
There is a special celebration lunch for Fr. Meyerhoff following the 11:00 am Mass on Sunday, May 31 in the gym. Lunch will be provided, with space available both indoors and outdoors. Those planning to sit outside are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. Parishioners are also invited to bring a dessert to share as we celebrate this joyful occasion together!

Middle school parents, we are already looking ahead to next year!
If your student will be in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade, we would love for them to consider participating in middle school sports at Resurrection Catholic School. Athletics are a wonderful way for students to make friends, build confidence, grow in teamwork, and represent RCS with pride.
Future 6th grade families, this is especially for you! Middle school can feel like a big transition, and sports are a great way for students to get involved right away, no matter their experience level.
Please click the link below to learn more, sign up, and let us know which sports your student may be interested in for next year. We are also looking for parent coaches and volunteers to help make these opportunities possible for our Ravens.
Go Ravens!
