Our first full week of September was kicked off with an Apple theme 🍎! We learned the parts of an Apple, made homemade applesauce, designed Apple trees, planted seeds, and more🌳! The kiddos have been working hard to memorize a song about September and some can even spell it on their own now!

Our final theme for “back to school” was all about goals, dreams, and introducing growth mindset! We created art inspired by the Dot, learned mistakes are beautiful from beautiful oops, and discussed things we don’t know YET as we designed our own magical “yet” creatures. Not pictured was everyone learning how to play hide-n-seek and duck-duck-goose outside! Next week kicks off our new monthly theme of Changing Seasons/ All things September

Man August has flown by! I can’t believe we are nearing the end of “back to school season”.

This week was all about friendship! This week had so many highlights! We created imaginary friends inspired by Beekle, practiced compliments with Molly Lou Melon, and did some friendship paint mixing inspired by Something Else! 🎨🫟

Next week, we’ll end the month off with activities that focus on dreaming, goal setting, and growth mindset!

Continuing with our monthly theme of back to school! This weeks sub theme was focused around pre-school! What do we do in pre-school? What does it look like to learn in preschool? We practiced using glue, scissors, whiteboards and other learning materials! We also did some science and math measuring school supplies! ✂️✏️📚🖍️

Although we were sad to send some friends back to school, all the kiddos look forward to the time we will have with new friends!

Our monthly theme for August is back to school 🍎🐛! Each week is divided into a sub-theme, this week was “all about me” as we welcomed some new friends into our space!

We made paper plate self portraits, playdough families, traced each other’s faces, and more! One of our key takeaways from this week is that the world would be boring if we were all the same! You were made to be unique 🥇, we all have a heart 🧡, and we are all humans 🌎!

Yo-ho, yo-ho, a pirates life for us! This week we made pirate hats, did a STEM challenge for penny boats, painted “treasure chests”, created paper plate parrots, and of course did a treasure hunt! 🐚🏴‍☠️⚔️🦜🏝️

If you want your kiddo to join in on the fun with us, I have 1 full time and 2 part time slots available to start in mid August!

Picnic week! From ant themed crafts, to a design a picnic basket STEM challenge- we had an absolute blast! On Friday we had the cutest Teddy Bear picnic with our furry friends 🐻🧸🧺 This week we will be having some swashbuckling adventures with Pirate themed learning!
