Say hello to Taylin Fox, our new Career Coach!

A Wichita native, Taylin spent a few years adventuring in Kansas City after earning her bachelor's degree before returning home to Wichita.

In her new role, Taylin is excited to help students build the confidence and skills they need to pursue joyful, fulfilling careers.

Outside of work, you'll find Taylin watching or playing soccer, crafting, tackling crosswords, or wandering through art museums in search of inspiration.

One piece of advice Taylin would give her college-aged self? "Slow down! It's important to strive toward your goals, but it's just as important to give yourself time to learn, grow, and enjoy the journey."

And her biggest irrational fear? Flies. 🪰 (They're much scarier than they should be! 😅)

A Wichita native, Taylor spent part of her undergraduate years in Minnesota during an applied learning experience before making her way back home to Wichita State.

In her new role, Taylor is excited to connect students with their industries, help them build valuable skills, and discover meaningful career paths.

Outside of work, Taylor enjoys playing video games, cooking, and finding new ways to get outdoors. Whether it's hiking, paddle boarding, climbing, or trying a brand-new adventure, she's always up for something active.

One piece of advice Taylor has for students? "Get the degree, but lean into your passions and what excites you! It'll open more doors than you would think!"

If Taylor had to eat one meal forever, it would be some variation of pasta with a chicken cutlet. 🍝 And her most unexpected fear? Clusters of tightly packed holes! Let's avoid the sponges here!

Meet Tara Collins, a Social Work major and Foster Home Specialist for Eckerd Connects. Tara meets with foster families and conducts reports on the homes, helping children in need as a supportive constant in their lives.
