We are so grateful for the Walnut Valley Festival for allowing us the opportunity to attend the bluegrass festival again this year! Despite the heat, we soaked up so many different genres of music and heard many incredible musicians from all over the world.

Chamber and Freshmen orchestras had the incredible opportunity of having Bing Futch, the Walnut Valley Festival Ambassador, out today!

Bing introduced us to the Mountain Dulcimer by playing folk and fiddle tunes, Pink Floyd, Elvis, Disney, and finishing with a singalong of Creep!

This was a wonderful precursor to the festival this weekend, and we can’t wait to take a bus load for our annual trek down to Winfield for the Bluegrass festival this Friday!
