The OFFICIAL page for Kelly Liberal Arts Academy in Wichita, KS. The school was named for Mary Kelly.
Mary Kelly taught mathematics in Wichita Public Schools for 47 years. Her first assignment in 1892 was at Irving Elementary School where she taught for nine years. She then spent one year at the old high school, now WATC Central Campus, before becoming head of the mathematics department at the new Wichita High School East where she remained until retirement in 1939. Our 5th graders are taking an exciting next step as they bridge from elementary to middle school! Today we celebrated their growth, accomplishments, and the bright futures ahead. We are so proud of who they’ve become and can’t wait to see all they will achieve. 💚

Today we celebrate a true Kelly legend! After 32 years, all at Kelly Elementary,
Mrs. Carter is retiring on her last day of school. 💚
She has inspired generations of students to find their voice and love music. Her impact will be felt for years to come!
Congratulations, Mrs. Carter, on an amazing career. We are so grateful for you and wish you all the best in this next chapter! 🎶✨

A big thank you to our friends from City National Bank for helping make Field Day so special! 💚🎉 They brought the energy to the tug-of-war station—tugging, cheering, and hollering all day long. We are so grateful for their support and the fun they helped create for our students!
