Dr. Amy Bragg Carey, president of Friends University, was one of five members appointed as chair of the standing committees on policy and programs for the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (NAICU).
She will serve as chair of the Audit Committee and will join the officers as a member of the NAICU Executive Committee.
Congrats Dr Carey!

Friends University is excited to welcome Darin Kater as the new Vice President of Student Life! Kater is an ‘88 and ‘90 Friends University alumnus and has previously dedicated 18 impactful years of service to the institution, including in the Student Life department. He’s also the son of the late Jack Kater, a beloved Friends University athletic director, men’s basketball coach and golf coach at Friends, and who was honored by “Jack Kater Court” in the Garvey Physical Education Center.
