WooHoo for The Ridge!

A huge thank you to The Ridge for treating our entire SPS staff to complimentary drinks for WooHoo Wednesday!

It was such a fun surprise and a much-appreciated midweek pick-me-up for our teachers and staff.

Thank you, The Ridge, for making our Wednesday a little sweeter! 🦅✨

We’re proud to be in our second year of the Smart Families program!📱 We’re grateful to the Smart Families team for partnering with St. Peter and we’re proud to be part of the change!

So honored to partner and tour with Smart Families this school year on a mission that matters: empower families to build communities that engage with technology in a healthy, intentional way that is respectful of our innate human dignity.

Our first stop was St. Peter the Apostle Catholic School. Huge thank you to Principal Hickok, Father Curtis Hecker, Mindy, Megan and the whole Smart Families team. And to every parent who showed up to invest in their kids' wellbeing, thank you. That's what this is all about. What a gift to get to do this work.

Group chats and gaming spaces can help children connect—but they can also normalize exclusion, cruelty, pressure, and harmful language. Our newest Be Smart newsletter explores the science behind these online dynamics and gives parents practical ways to help children recognize toxic behavior, respond with integrity, and ask for help.

Read and share the issue with your community, then explore every Be Smart newsletter at smart-families.org/newsletter. Together, we can build healthier norms for childhood.
