The Student Support Services (SSS) Program is one of nine (9) TRIO programs at Wichita State University and serves 250 eligible WSU students annually. The program is supported through a competitive grant process that is submitted to the United States Department of Educat

ion. The present grant totaling $494,929.00 is the largest grant received for a SSS project in the state of Kansas. Mission Statement:
To provide academic support services that help first generation, limited income students, and students with disabilities successfully persist and graduate from Wichita State University. Vision:
To become a model of excellence in assisting first generation, limited income students, and students with disability to persist and graduate from college. Core Values:

SSS offers a variety of services specifically geared towards providing a basis for the successful education of eligible students. Academic advisors are each assigned a specific number of students, thus enabling the advisor to personalize those services essential to meeting the academic needs of each student. The Project Offers:

Scholarships Exclusively for SSS Students
Use of the SSS Technology Learning Lab

🗓️SSS OFFICE SCHEDULE UPDATE WEEK OF MARCH 30 - APRIL 3.

SSS staff will be out of the office attending the MO-KAN-NE Annual Conference this week. While our office and computer lab will mostly remain open during regular business hours, please note the following times when both our office and lab will be CLOSED:

Tuesday, 3/31 from 12 PM - 5 PM
Thursday, 4/2 from 2 PM - 5 PM

🌸Spring is Springing, am I right?!

Cool off with us on Thursday & come to the TRIO Pop-Out Spring Social for some popsicles, games, & good vibes! ✨

We’ll be out on the front lawn of Grace Wilkie Hall from 1 - 3 PM this Thursday the 26th with the other TRIO programs, helping spread the word about our community & resources while having fun!! 🎯🎟️
