Ways to get your child ready for the start of the school year.

📅 The countdown to a brand new school year is on—just three weeks to go! As we prepare to welcome students back, now is the perfect time for parents to empower their children for a fresh start. Here are some ways you can help your student step confidently into the coming year.

As Wichita families get ready to send their children back to school, HOPE Wichita is stepping in to help.

The organization's annual backpack giveaway is this Saturday, taking place at seven different locations throughout Wichita, where families can get supplies and services to prepare for the upcoming year.

Applications for free or reduced-price meals are now available. To determine if your student qualifies for free or reduced-priced meals, textbook rentals, athletic fees, instrument rentals and other student fees, submit a completed “Application for Free and Reduced-Price School Meals” through LINQ Connect.
