Our Dojo is chartered through the International Okinawan Shorin-Ryu Seibukan Karate-Do Association under Zenpo Shimabukuro (Okinawa, Japan). Classes consist of Physical training, Kata, Self-defense, Weapons, and Kumite (fighting). Our instructors teach because we love what we do and welcome all who want to learn.

We put up a Tori Gate marking the entrance to our dojo. The gate is closed in the picture but it is open for those that want to train in true Okinawan Karate.

It was very nice to see one of our former students and sensei come visit the dojo. Lela had such an impact and influence on students at our dojo that even though she has been gone for a long while following her military career and ambitions, Lela is still remebered by many of our senior students and I am forever grateful for her contributes to our dojo and to Seibukan.

We just finished our monthly black belt training and we had a special visitor from Minnesota, Michelle MacGregor came and trained with us today and it was so nice to see her.

Saturday morning training. Today seemed like family day. Pat and his two kids, Leo and his sister and my two kids, and then there is Scott Sensei. Was a fun day and good to see our youth in the dojo training.

Snuck some testing in last night before the Memorial Day weekend. These 2 did great, Leo and his sister Aubrey are moving on up! Leo receiving his 7th kyu and Aubrey her 9th kyu. Thanks guys keep on working!
