Riverside Family Music

When you see a child shaking a shaker, dancing around the room, or singing along in a Music Together class, it may look like simple fun. And it IS fun! ❤️

But there’s also a lot happening beneath the surface.

Music and movement give young children opportunities to practice:

🧠 Listening and attention
🗣️ Language and communication
🤝 Social interaction
💛 Self-expression and confidence
🥁 Coordination and motor skills
🔄 Following patterns, taking turns, and responding

Music Together was created as a research-based early childhood music program, drawing from research in music education, child development, psychology, and neuroscience.

So when your child is "just playing music," they're actually learning a LOT.

That's one of the reasons we love what we do at Riverside Family Music! 🎵

What does your child love most—singing, dancing, or playing instruments? Tell us below! 👇
