Had a great day experiencing AVID in Action at Coleman Environmental Magnet Middle School yesterday! Impressed by the strong college-going culture, student ownership, and intentional instructional practices happening in every classroom.

Had a great day observing AVID tutorials at North today! It was inspiring to see students collaborating, asking thinking critically, and taking ownership of their learning.

Third graders at Val Jackson Elementary are using the critical reading process to answer questions and take notes over the life of MLK Jr. and then share their learning via a One Pager.
