Practical life is an important part of our Montessori Piano classroom. The pictured funneling work aids in the development of hand and eye coordination, hand and arm control, and concentration—all important skills to have when playing the piano! Children also enjoy works like this as a “brain break” after some rigorous work at the piano or learning about the music staff. Everything works together in our Montessori Piano classroom to lay a foundation for well rounded musicians!
