Great question?
Part of a world-wide organization formed in 1875. The Theosophical Society has no dogma and promotes freedom of thought.
The international HQ are located in Adyar, India and the American HQ are located in Wheaton,IL, outside Chicago. Theosophists, therefore, are encouraged to accept nothing on faith or on the word of another, but to examine the ideas and concepts which lie at the root of the world’s philosophies and religions. Our meetings are intended to attempt to enlarge spiritual concepts and stimulate thought.

This is our current study book
starting Sunday, September 21, 2025. The ancients practiced "The Way" - (synonym by which practitioners referred to the process of having arrived at a state of self-realization of discovering the divine within themselves and returning to the body with a more informed view of doctrines to be adopted in daily life). Theosophy is intended to attempt to enlarge spiritual concepts and stimulate thought as we examine the ideas and concepts which lie at the root of the world’s philosophies and religions -- and that is exactly what this book does! All are welcome to join us for discussion at 2:00 p.m. the 1st & 3rd Sundays of every month at White Dove Metaphysical Center & Bookstore, 2947 E. Kellogg St., Wichita, KS.

The Theosophical Society in Wichita Study Group (TSW) meets the 1st & 3rd Sundays for every month at 2pm at White Dove Metaphysical Bookstore, 2947 E. Kellogg in Wichita. We are currently studying “An Introduction to The Mahatma Letters" study guide by Virginia Hanson. We are enthusiastic students of Theosophy and we offer like-minded spiritual seekers the opportunity to study, discuss, and grow spiritually, while each also being on our individual Paths. The study guides are $10/cash.
The Theosophical Society is nondogmatic and encourages accepting nothing on faith or on the word of another, but to adopt only those ideas that satisfy your own sense of what is real and important. Theosophy is a way of looking at life rather than a creed and presents ideas, not as fixed beliefs, but as a way of looking at life that explains the world as you experience it. All are welcome to join us!
