Wichita State's BFA in Performing Arts – Dance is a professional degree aligned with national standards that prepares students for today's evolving dance profession. Grounded in contemporary dance practice, the curriculum combines daily technique, rehearsal, performance, and creative research to develop versatile, thoughtful, and adaptable artists.

Train alongside actors, musical theatre performers, and design and technical theatre students while exploring additional movement forms such as ballet, jazz & Broadway styles, tap, and hip hop based on your artistic interests and career goals. Through choreography, somatics, kinesiology, pedagogy, and performance opportunities, you'll develop both your artistic voice and your leadership potential.
