Many hands really do make light work, and a team of incredible people is what makes it possible for our PTO to do all we do for our school, staff, and students! We are always looking to add more members and we have some specific needs for these roles that are lower time commitments and can mostly be done outside of school hours for our working parents. Please reach out if you’re interested in any of them!

Our teachers and staff are back to work as of today, so PTO provided them with a yummy lunch to welcome them. We have the best staff!

Can’t believe we’re down to our last week of summer! We hope all of you will come see us during Open House to get a calendar for the year, find out how to get involved in PTO, and purchase spirit wear and then for PTO’s 1st Popsicles on the Playground immediately following!

Hope you’ve all had a great summer! As we start thinking about back to school, don’t forget that there will be a uniform exchange set up during in person enrollment July 27th and 28th. You do not need to have donated any uniforms to take whatever you need!

If you’re interested in getting involved with PTO this year, we are having an unofficial meeting at the laundromat while we sort and wash all of the uniforms on Monday morning at 9:30 AM. Let us know if you’d like to join! If Monday doesn’t work, no worries - Keep an eye out for a post coming soon with more ways to get involved!

This morning was our second annual 5th grade breakfast and clap out before their promotion ceremony! Way to go, Hawks! Good luck in middle school!

We will have tubs in the office all week to collect your clean, outgrown uniforms! These will be organized by size and available for you to go through at registration in July. (Again, donating is not necessary to take what you need at registration!)

Your student will be coming home with this flyer today! We are collecting outgrown uniforms again all next week in the office and will organize them by size to have them out at registration in July. This weekend is a great time to go through your collection to see if you have anything to send in next week!

The rest of last week was filled with a walking taco lunch Tuesday, chair massages from Wichita Chair Massage and a snack cart full of 90s snacks Wednesday, a dip bar Thursday, and a caffeine bar for teachers and staff and sno cones for students on field day Friday! It was a great week!

It’s been a great start to Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week! We had perfect weather for Chalk the Walk last night and we provided breakfast for everyone this morning to kick off a great week. The 90s theme has been a hit and the staff are doing their own spirit week to go along with it - Today was denim on denim and they rocked it!
