Every year at Homecoming, our alumni come back and swap stories about Picnic Day...including their most memorable buddies. Sometimes they even run into their former buddies at the game and get to reminisce together! As we watched all our sweet buddies have the best time together today, it was hard not to think about what they will say about this tradition when they come back for their own reunions in ten or twenty or thirty years. They may not know it yet...but they are living the good old days!

Picnic Buddy Day...forever a favorite! 💛💙

We feel like we post these same sentiments every year...but EVERY year the Middle School Talent Show blows us away. And yes, the talents are amazing. But that isn't why we walk out of Galichia Auditorium on cloud nine. We all know that the middle school years are full of ups and downs. That is part of the growth. But every year, on the morning of picnic day, we see all of the very best parts of these in-between years. For two hours, there is nothing but bravery, an insane amount of encouragement, and so much PRIDE. In themselves. For their friends. And for this special school we all call home. We know we say it every year...but every year it is worth saying. We ❤️ the Talent Show!

New York Day!!! 🗽Whether you take the subway or a taxi, travel there rocking your jammies or your elf outfit, catch a Broadway show or a big game, the Big Apple is the place to be! Sometimes NYC feels about as different from WCS as you can get, but we do have one thing in common...both are places that people love to go and both feel like they have something for everyone! 🍎
