✨ Help One of Our IED Families Rebuild After a House Fire ✨
Dear IED Families & the public,
We are reaching out with heavy hearts to share that one of our beloved IED families—the Caines family—recently experienced a devastating loss when their home was destroyed in an electrical fire.
Thankfully, they are all safe. However, their home and belongings were completely destroyed, leaving them with the difficult task of starting over from scratch.
As a community, we have always stood by one another in times of need. Now, we are asking our IED families & anyone of the public to come together to support the Caines family as they work to rebuild.
💙 How You Can Help:
Donations will go directly toward temporary housing, replacing essentials for their children, and helping them begin the journey of recovery. No gift is too small, and your generosity—whether through giving or sharing this message—will mean the world to them.
👉 You can give directly here: GoFundMe – https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-the-caines-family-rebuild-after-fire
On behalf of the Caines family, thank you for your kindness, prayers, and compassion during this challenging time. Together, we can lift them up and remind them that they are not alone.
🙏🏽 Let’s surround this family with love and support.

You were sitting in that school meeting, trying to keep your voice from shaking when they said the words:
“We think your child might need an IEP or maybe a 504 Plan.”
You nodded, but your heart dropped.
You went home that night and googled things like:
❓ Does having an IEP mean my child is in special education forever?
❓ What’s the difference between an IEP and a 504 anyway?
❓ Will my child fall behind? Will they be treated differently?
You were overwhelmed. You felt alone. But you don’t have to stay there.

🌿 Mindful Mondays
📢 Back to school is right around the corner, and one of the most stressful parts for families? Mornings. 😅
⏰ The alarm goes off. Someone can’t find their shoes. Breakfast is half-eaten. You glance at the clock and feel the panic rise—how are you already late? If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone. Mornings can feel like a battlefield for so many families.
💡 Kids feel that chaos too, and it shapes their entire day. The good news? A little preparation changes everything. Start small this week—pick one routine to lock in, like setting out clothes the night before or doing a quick morning check-in.
👉 Want more ideas? Check out our latest blog post:

💬 Here’s the best part: The strategies mentioned in our blog connect to the same social-emotional skills your child’s school teaches—building confidence, independence, and calm that lasts all day.
✅ Predictable mornings help kids feel safe, and when they feel safe, confidence grows. Peaceful mornings are possible.
Together we can ✨spark a mind and change a life✨, one routine at a time!
