Golden Key will be volunteering for the Block Kids Building Program on Saturday, February 8th. Volunteers will help with judging, registration, or supervision. This is a great opportunity to help the Wichita community and to see talented young minds at work! Volunteering will last from about 9-12 depending on where help is needed. Please see attached files for more information. If you would like to volunteer, please send your name, phone number, and email address to [email protected] by Monday, February 3rd so that this information can be sent to the committee. Remember that Golden Key scholarships given out each year are based on member participation!

For our November volunteer event, we will be helping the Y. Volunteers will be sorting coats and other winter items and then hanging them up on coat racks according to type (men's, women's, children's).
When: Tuesday, November 26th from 6:30-8:00 pm.
Where: Downtown YMCA, 402 N Market. Go to the front desk and tell them you are there to volunteer with Golden Key. Please park in the Y's parking lot (should be labeled) or the church parking lot SOUTH of 3rd street.
It is highly recommended to wear old clothes and to leave personal items and your own coat at home!

We will be providing pizza, drinks, and Halloween treats. Join us to learn more about our organization, socialize with members, enjoy games, or just stop by.
It's not too late to volunteer for Light the Night Walk! Email Shanna Ireland with your volunteer application (found in the File folder on OrgSync). Shanna anticipates volunteers for setup will be helping from 11 to about 2 or 3 pm and those that volunteer during the walk will be volunteering from about 4 to eight pm.

Making Valentine's Day cards for the resident's of the Kansas Masonic Home!
Our first meeting will be held this Friday, February 15, 2013. We will be discussing plans for the semester as well as making Valentine's day cards to share with people in a local retirement home. The meeting will be held at the English Language Learning Center which is located at the SW corner of 17th and Hillside in room # 204A.
