The WPS bond issue is divided into two questions. Question 2 can only pass if Question 1 passes.

📌 If Question 1 passes, the tax rate would remain the same. A homeowner would not see an increase to what they currently pay.
📌 If Question 2 passes, the tax rate would increase with an anticipated impact of an additional $50 a year ($4.16 a month) for the owner of a $200,000 home compared to what is being paid today.

The district recommended a bond referendum based on school and community feedback.

Studies suggest that up to one in three children with autism wander off every year.

With more of us heading outside in the summer months, it’s important to reduce the risks of wandering and elopement.

Autism Speaks continues to support annual funding for Kevin and Avonte’s Law, which supports programs that protect children with autism or other developmental disabilities who may wander away from safety.

In just two weeks, Special Olympics Kansas is hosting our annual Summer Games at Maize South High School on June 5-7 and we are looking for volunteers.

If you are looking for something fun to do, we would love to have you join us. It takes over 800 volunteers to help make the weekend great for our athletes, coaches, families and fans who will be attending. The Summer Games features our state competitions for Bocce, Tennis, Soccer, and Track & Field.

We can't wait to see you there!
