Ready, Set, Kindergarten!!

Introducing our Kindergarten Prep Classes the first 4 Saturdays in August from 9A-11:30A!

Bring your own water bottle and peanut free snack for a morning full of fun & learning!
Each week we will focus on independence and classroom routines, literacy and communication, early math and critical thinking and social emotional readiness!

Daily goals:
Writing names
Pencil grips
Scissor skills
Literacy
Math
STEM
Art
Social skills
Classroom etiquette
Independence

Each day, you’ll get a recap of all the lessons learned and activities done and how you can help continue the process at home!
Each class is $45 per child and will provide them with skills they can apply to their every day lives!
Each class is limited to 20 students to help provide the best possible environment for learning for every child.

You do not have to be a current student to join us for Kindergarten Prep!

This week we celebrated Ms. Jana’s final week at Little Ducklings Academy.

Ms. Jana joined our team in 2022 as our Lead Preschool Teacher, where her classroom quickly became a place filled with learning, laughter, and growth. She had a special gift for making learning exciting while creating meaningful connections with each child she taught. During her time in the classroom, she helped develop and implement new curriculum materials and creative learning experiences that continue to benefit our students today.

In 2025, Ms. Jana stepped into the role of Assistant Director, where her passion for early childhood education expanded beyond one classroom. She played a key role in implementing new strategies, strengthening our curriculum, mentoring staff, and creating enriching learning opportunities for children throughout our entire center.

This fall, Ms. Jana will begin an exciting new chapter as she enters a Master’s program in Social Work and transitions into a career serving our community in a new way. While we are incredibly sad to see her leave Little Ducklings, we know Wichita will be a better place because of the compassion, dedication, and heart she brings to everything she does.

Over the past four years, Ms. Jana has touched the lives of countless children, families, and coworkers. She has helped children build confidence, discover a love of learning, and reach important milestones that will stay with them for years to come. Her impact on Little Ducklings Academy will not be forgotten.

Ms. Jana, thank you for everything you’ve given to our school, our families, and our children. We are so grateful for the time we’ve had with you and couldn’t be more proud of all you’re accomplishing. We know you’re going to do amazing things in this next chapter, and you’ll always be part of the Little Ducklings family.

Friday we celebrated the amazing women who make the world go round with a special Mother’s Day party, and our hearts are so full seeing all of the love, laughter, and sweet moments shared together.

Thank you for trusting us with your greatest treasures each and every day. Thank you for the early mornings, the packed lunches, the bedtime cuddles, the endless love, and everything you do behind the scenes that often goes unnoticed.
