✨ Meet Gracie, one of our incredible Student Techs!

Gracie has been sewing since she was just 7 years old, growing up in a family where creativity and craftsmanship have always been a way of life. That lifelong passion has grown into an impressive skill set here at GoCreate.

From the sewing studio to the metal shop, Gracie has embraced new challenges and expanded her knowledge—becoming proficient on several machines, including our CNC equipment.

We’re proud to have Gracie on our team and can’t wait to see what she creates next. 👏

Every member brings a unique story, and we’re proud to celebrate the makers, innovators, and lifelong learners who make our community so special. This week we’re featuring Brett Prather, whose journey proves it’s never too late to rediscover a passion.

Member Bio:

Brett Prather
Wife: Angie Prather

Brett is a retired architect and the founder of Architectural Innovations, a firm he owned for 23 years with offices in Wichita and Colorado Springs.

Some of his most recognizable projects in Wichita include The Lord’s Diner and the expansion and renovation of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception downtown.

Brett took four years of woodshop in high school and even served as a teacher’s assistant. After 52 years away from the shop, he’s back behind the woodworking tools for the very first time.

We’re honored to have Brett as part of the GoCreate community and can’t wait to see what he creates next! 🪵🔨
