📅 The countdown to a brand new school year is on—just three weeks to go! As we prepare to welcome students back, now is the perfect time for parents to empower their children for a fresh start. Here are some ways you can help your student step confidently into the coming year.

If you have not already completed enrollment, office staff will be available 9-11:30 and 12:30-2:30, the rest of this week in the main office. KG students and students 1st-5th that are new to Woodman will need to enroll in person. All other students can be enrolled online at usd259.org/enroll-in-wps. Don’t forget to complete your application for assistance with meals at linqconnect.com.

Applications for free or reduced-price meals are now available. To determine if your student qualifies for free or reduced-priced meals, textbook rentals, athletic fees, instrument rentals and other student fees, submit a completed “Application for Free and Reduced-Price School Meals” through LINQ Connect. 📌 In-person enrollment will be 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday and Tuesday, July 27-28, at all WPS schools. Kindergarteners should enroll in person to take the Ages and Stages Questionnaire.

📌For our new families who speak other languages, additional multilingual support will be available during those same hours at the district administrative center, 903 S. Edgemoor.

📢 New League Structure Coming
Wichita Park & Recreation is transitioning to a school boundary–based feeder system to better connect teams with local schools and strengthen community ties. This change will roll out gradually over multiple seasons, allowing established teams to stay together during the transition.
