🌟👩🏼‍🎓🎉Irving was a busy place today! We celebrated some former students with a graduation walk through the halls of their former school, our volunteers were celebrated with a delicious lunch provided by Texas Roadhouse, and we had 'Fly-Up day' to see which teachers/grade-level they'll be teaching next year.

Our All Stars had a great time at our all school Riverside Park day today! The students enjoyed Popsicles, yard games, water fun, playground fun, and the Kansas Wildlife Exhibit animals! Mrs. Lugo and her volunteer team did an amazing job planning, setting up,feeding our kids & staff, and keeping the entire day running smoothly! Thank you all for making today so FUN for our students! 👏🏼
🌟Extra shoutout to the Kansas Wildlife exhibit keepers, Todd, Gina, & Alicia for sharing a ton of animal facts with our students! They even gave students an up close visit by some real animals!

🍳 🥪Free breakfasts and lunches will be offered to all children 18 years old and younger at 33 locations in Wichita as part of the WPS Summer Food Service Program. The free breakfast/lunch program begins Wednesday, May 27, and runs through Friday, July 24. The free meals are available to all children, regardless of which school district they attend and not just students who receive free/reduced meals during the school year. Se ofrecerán desayunos y almuerzos gratuitos a todos los niños y niñas de 18 años o menos en 33 ubicaciones en Wichita como parte del Programa de Alimentos durante el Verano de las Escuelas Públicas de Wichita.

El programa de desayuno y almuerzo gratuito comienza el miércoles 27 de mayo y estará disponible hasta el viernes 24 de julio.

Las comidas gratuitas están disponibles para todos los niños y niñas, sin importar a qué distrito escolar asistan, y no se limitan únicamente a los estudiantes que reciben comidas gratuitas o a precio reducido durante el año escolar.
