What a great way to end the semester! One of best performances to date. The Beta Tau chapter closes the year out strong and we wish Austin and Andrew farewell as they graduate. Thanks for everything you’ve provided to this organization.

To all students of the school of music, new or old, major or non-major,
if you're looking for an organization to join this fall then Kappa Kappa Psi is the place to be. Not only will you gain leadership skills but you would be joining a network of students and brothers who are willing to support and help you out whenever you need it. Kappa Kappa Psi is an honorary leadership fraternity with a dedication to servicing the bands at Wichita State. Along with that dedication, however, comes a dedication to each other as well. Sometimes, it's nice to have a network.

Before the school year starts, the Beta Tau chapter would like to give the opportunity to get to know the chapter and what each member is all about. Therefore, our first member being spotlighted is Austin Nelsen! Austin has been in Kappa since the fall of 2015 and is currently the secretary/treasurer for Beta Tau. He is a senior and is a physics major. He plans to get a PhD and following that, he plans to stay in academia conducting research. He plays in the Shocker Sound pep band as well as Symphonic Band. We can't wait to see what the future holds for him!

THIS FRIDAY, April 27th, Kappa Kappa Psi will be hosting some brass and woodwind practice juries from 10AM to 12PM! NO ACCOMPANIST NECESSARY. We have 12 ten minute slots open and our sign up sheet will be posted until 9:30 AM on Friday the 27th, so come claim a spot and practice your jury!

This weekend we welcomed Andrew Stuewe and Trey Wilson into the Beta Tau chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi. We are so glad they accepted our invitation to join! We inducted four new brothers over the course of the 17-18 school year, meaning our chapter has DOUBLED in size! We can't wait to see what these new members bring you in the 18-19 year!
