Raising up children who love to read.

In a classical education, we don’t want students to simply learn how to read or read because it’s required for school; we want them to discover the joy of reading and develop a lifelong love and appetite for great books. And sometimes, that love of reading shows up in the sweetest ways. Even during snack break, you’ll find students immersed in books they’ve checked out from the library, eagerly turning pages and discovering new worlds, ideas, and stories.

We believe great books help cultivate curiosity, imagination, wisdom, and a love of learning, and we love seeing our students embrace reading whenever they can find a few extra minutes.

This morning, our Upper School students gathered together for See You at the Pole, the global day of student prayer, for a special time to worship, pray, and lift up our friends, families, teachers, school, and nation before the Lord.

Seniors Abe Black and Tylan Sinclair led our students in worship and guided them through this meaningful time of prayer. What a beautiful way to begin the day, standing together in faith and seeking God’s wisdom and guidance for our school, our community, and one another.

We are grateful for students who are willing to lead and for a community that makes space to gather in prayer.

Cup O’ Jo is officially brewing!

Our seniors kicked off a new morning coffee service today to help raise money for their senior trip, and they’re bringing the caffeine and the cooler weather vibes!

Feeling fallish? They’ve got the pumpkin spice.
Want it on ice? They’ve got you covered.

A big thank-you to our seniors for keeping us caffeinated this morning and serving up some delicious drinks for a great cause! We’re already looking forward to the next Cup O’ Jo.
