In addition to the bond proposal, the district has a five-year Capital Improvement Plan to address ongoing facility needs at all schools. If the 2026 Wichita Public Schools bond passes, capital funds would be used to replace a boiler, roof, and sewer line, as well as enable electrical system improvements at South High over the next five years. Without the bond, these projects may take more than five years to complete. Learn how this bond will impact all WPS buildings at wpsbond.org.
