This week, we came across a wonderful description of Montessori mastery from Prime Montessori Academy in Maryland, and we felt it captured the heart of mastery so beautifully that we wanted to share it with our families and followers. Our families and our parents group are just the best around!

Today we had our fall feast and this morning teachers were welcomed by students with thankful postcards ❤️ our main entree and star of the show! Three turkeys were provided and cooked to delicious perfection from our parents.

Then teachers received another surprise handmade adorable pumpkins from a former WMS parent. We are so thankful for the fantastic community we have!

🍂 In November, we are thankful for so many things.
This season reminds us of how much we have — and how much we can give back to our community.

Every Thursday, our neighbors at Hillside Christian Church host a food pantry from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. This week, our Upper Elementary class (3rd–5th years) and their teachers had the honor of volunteering and helping guests carry their much-needed food items to their vehicles. ❤️

If you’re looking for ways to help this season, the pantry is currently in need of:
• Canned meat products (tuna, chicken)
• Shelf-stable items
• Peanut butter

You’re welcome to drop off donation items at the WMS office, and we will deliver them to the pantry on Thursdays. Our students will continue volunteering beyond the holidays, and we’ll make sure all donated items reach the families who need them most.

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve and learn alongside our community partners.

This week, our school was honored to receive $1,000 from Davis-Moore Chevrolet as part of their Chevy Back to School Event.

We are thankful for their generosity and for their support of our students and school community.

🧩 Think & Play Thursday – Toys for the holidays — any donations are appreciated
🥫 Fill the Pantry Friday – Cereal, peanut butter, and other shelf-stable pantry items
