🎟️ SFA FUN NIGHT RAFFLE UPDATE! 🎉

We’ve officially reached $10,691 in raffle sales — that’s about 21% of our $50,000 goal.

Our students have already unlocked our first TWO school-wide prize benchmarks:

📚 25 new books for our school library
🎶 Students get to choose the parking lot music during school drop-off

Now it’s time to ramp things up! We have just 15 days left to sell, and some of the biggest prizes are still ahead:

🏀 New PE and music equipment
🌱 A new hydroponic growing tower
👩‍🏫 Dress Like a Teacher Day
🎉 And the BIG one — if we reach $50,000 in raffle sales, students earn a DAY OFF SCHOOL on Monday, Oct. 19, the day after Fun Night!

Every ticket sold moves our entire school closer to the next reward. Share the raffle link with grandparents, family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, and anyone who would love to support SFA!

🛠️🍬 Building, problem-solving, and teamwork in action!

Our 3rd graders worked through the steps of the engineering process to design and build freestanding gumdrop cross towers standing 10 inches tall!

Using only toothpicks, gumdrops, creative thinking, and lots of teamwork, students tested their ideas, made adjustments, and brought their designs to life. ✝

What a sweet way to put engineering skills into practice!

📱💛 Thank you to all of the parents who took the time to join us for our Growing Whole Kids Parent Education Night!

It was an evening full of practical, important conversation about the physical and mental effects of screens, healthy ways to incorporate technology into family life, and how we can intentionally make room for more face-to-face connection, social interaction, imagination—and even the important art of simply being bored.

In a world filled with constant noise and stimulation, those quiet, screen-free moments matter.

And today, more than 70 students got to enjoy a special jeans day while sporting their St. Francis Smart Families shirts as a thank-you to their families for attending! 👕👖

We’re grateful to every parent who invested the time to learn, reflect, and gather tools to support the well-being of our children.

• Your student will receive a FREE JEANS DAY 👖
• Each family member will receive a FREE St. Francis shirt 👕

🎟️ SFA FUN NIGHT RAFFLE GOAL UPDATE! 🎟️

We’re slowly working toward our $50,000 raffle goal!
So far, we’ve reached $7,441, which means we have $42,559 left to go.

Here’s break down what that looks like:
💛 About $72 more in sales per student between now and Fun Night
💛 Or roughly $24 per student, per week, for the next 3 weeks

That could be just a few family members, grandparents, neighbors, coworkers, or friends purchasing tickets each week!

Small efforts across our whole school community can add up FAST—and every ticket sold moves us closer to our $50,000 goal.

SFA Feeds Starving Children
Our 7th and 8th graders took a field trip to a mobile packing unit for Feed My Starving Children. The students, parent chaperones, and teachers worked together to pack dozens of nutritious meals and boxed them up to send to starving families worldwide.
