These are our 3 friends who got an award at today’s celebration assembly. Each month, I pick one student to earn the Leadership Award, the Grit Award, and Attendance award. Congratulations leaders!

These kiddos went above and beyond when I had a sub Monday. They are true LEADERS!
To celebrate their greatness, they had a special lunch date with me 😁

Hello! Our year is off to a great start! We’ve got some amazing kids in our class.

We’ve been learning about the moon and outer space. We watched footage of astronauts on the moon and space ships launching. So we set off rockets of our own!
We learned about the chemical reaction of water and antacids 😁

Tomorrow is Play Day!
The kids will be outside tomorrow afternoon playing games on the playground. Be sure to have your child drink plenty of water tonight so they are hydrated.
Please wear tennis shoes and clothes that can dry quickly. There will be water games!!! They can bring sandals to change in to after play day is over, but no sandals for the actual play time.
It begins at 2:10 and lasts until 3:40. Parents are welcome to come watch if you’d like 😊

We had a wonderful time at Botanica today. Thank you to all parents who came and helped. I couldn’t have done it without you!!!

It poured rain as soon as we got back to school. Thank goodness we missed it!

I hope all of you can make it to our schools first annual Leadership Day on Wednesday, May 2nd! This will be a morning event to showcase how the 7 Habits has impacted our students and school.
9:30-10:15 tour the school, visit classrooms and join in on a 7 habits activity. Visit the library to learn FROM STUDENTS about the leadership roles and their data notebook.
10:20 come watch each grade level do a performance on one of the 7 habits.
It is an important day for our school and we hope you can make it!

Painting Earths when we learned about Earth Day 🌏

Has your kiddo mentioned seeds and plants at home?
We’ve been learning about the lifecycle of seeds and plant parts. And it’s SO exciting!
The kids cultivated Lima beans and grass. It’s fun observing how much they grow each day.
PS- we will be taking a field trip to Botanica in a few weeks to deepen or knowledge about plants! Notes will go home soon.
