Recent graduates Briaja Tucker and Hallie Fritz attended the June 3 Wichita Professional Communicators lunch and received first-place awards for their work in Shocker Ad Lab, along with Auryona Webb, on the 2025 Wichita Gridiron campaign, "Wickedly Funny."

Check out this short documentary produced in our Capstone Media Project Class. The doc pays tribute to the 46 seasons Mike Kennedy spent as the Voice of the Shockers, and it feature Elliott School alumnus Denning Gerig, who was just named as Mike's replacement. The doc was produced by students Nick Flynn, Owen Prothro and Mack Smith. The project class was taught by Amy DeVault.
