📵 New Cell Phone Policy at Buckner 📵
In accordance with USD 259's new cell phone policy, Buckner will implement updated expectations for student cell phone use beginning this school year.
This policy is designed to create a learning environment where every student can stay focused, engaged, and successful by reducing distractions during the school day.
We encourage all families to review the new policy with their students before the first day of school. By working together, we can help our Buckner Stars stay connected to what matters most—learning, building friendships, and growing each day! ⭐

Join us for in-person enrollment!

📌 In-person enrollment will be 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday and Tuesday, July 27-28, at all WPS schools. Kindergarteners should enroll in person to take the Ages and Stages Questionnaire.

📌For our new families who speak other languages, additional multilingual support will be available during those same hours at the district administrative center, 903 S. Edgemoor.

Applications for free or reduced-price meals are now available. To determine if your student qualifies for free or reduced-priced meals, textbook rentals, athletic fees, instrument rentals and other student fees, submit a completed “Application for Free and Reduced-Price School Meals” through LINQ Connect. If you have any questions, please contact Nutrition Services at 316-973-2160 or [email protected].

Sign up for our Latchkey before and after-school program during in-person enrollment, noon to 7 p.m., July 27-28. Enrollment must be done at the school site. For more info and enrollment forms, go to usd259.org/latchkey.
