Back-to-school season has parents asking big questions: Will my child be ready? Will they feel safe? Will they love learning?

At The Bug Lady’s Science Academy, we answer those with STEM-based activities, real animal encounters, and gentle emotional support built into every day. Our kids don’t just memorize—they explore, experiment, and connect with the world around them.

Ladybugs, Butterflies, Honeybees & Dragonflies 🐞🦋🐝
We don’t do one-size-fits-all learning.
🐞 Ladybugs (1–3): Sensory STEM, early social skills, gentle structure
🦋 Butterflies (3–4): Big questions, creativity, early academics
🐝 Honeybees & Dragonflies (4–5): Pre-K prep, real-world STEM, confidence-building
Each stage has its own focus—but every classroom shares the same heart: curiosity, kindness, and connection.

A Little POV Moment 🐜
POV: You’re 3 years old, holding a snail for the first time.
It feels a little slimy. You’re not sure at first.
Then a teacher kneels next to you and says, “You’re being so gentle. What do you notice?”

Now it’s not scary—it’s science.
That’s the kind of moment we build every day.

Not Just Care… An Academy 🔬

You’re not just looking for someone to “watch” your child—you’re looking for a place that helps them grow. At The Bug Lady’s Science Academy, we combine STEM learning, animal science, social-emotional growth, yoga, and healthy meals into one intentional day.

That means your child is supported academically, emotionally, and physically from drop-off to pick-up. It’s so much more than childcare—it’s an early learning ecosystem.

Discover Bugs and Friends 🐞
At The Bug Lady’s Science Academy, kids don’t just look at pictures of animals—they discover bugs and friends in real life. From gentle tarantulas to busy beetles, every encounter is a lesson in science, empathy, and courage.

Our STEM-based preschool program turns “eww!” into “wow!” and helps children see the natural world as something to understand, not fear. If your child is curious (or you’d like them to be), this is where that curiosity can thrive.

Real Animals. Real Learning. 🦎🐢🕷️
A classroom snake shedding its skin.
A turtle slowly crunching veggies.
A stick bug perfectly camouflaged on a branch.

These aren’t just cool moments—they’re living science lessons that support language, observation, and critical thinking. That’s the power of our Animal Sciences in Early Learning Program.

**Happy Fourth of July!** ❤️🤍💙

Today, we pause to celebrate the incredible blessings of living in the United States of America.

We are grateful for the freedoms we enjoy, the opportunities we've been given, the communities we call home, and the family and friends who make life meaningful. These blessings are gifts made possible through the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment of those who came before us and those who continue to protect our nation today.

As we gather to celebrate Independence Day, may we never take these freedoms for granted. Instead, let us be thankful for our rich heritage, honor those who have served, and do our part to preserve the values of faith, freedom, and unity for future generations.

From our family to yours, we wish you a safe, joyful, and blessed Fourth of July.

**God Bless America!** 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙
