Football Falcons ranked eighth in VSN Preseason Top 25 - Friends University WICHITA, Kan. – The Friends University Falcons have been picked eighth in the Victory Sports Network Preseason Top 25, announced yesterday (Aug. 6) by the VSN's Jason Dannelly.

Cunningham - "Sofia Mekelburg and Natalie Castillo both have a lot of leadership qualities so it's fun to see them develop that while also translating that within their skill."

Cunningham - "Erin Cheatum got a little playing time last year, but she's probably going to be a big part of our offense this year. She's got a ton of power so she's going to be a big force for us at the net."

Cunningham - "Gabby Taylor is a big part of our offense and was a big part last year as an incoming freshman, so it's good to have that foundation with the returners."
