✈ Next stop: Spain! Carlos Sosa, a recent Media Arts graduate, is officially heading to Berklee College of Music for a Master’s in Music Production, Technology, and Innovation! 🎓

Betting on himself and applying was the best decision he has ever made. From a family of musicians to a future industry leader, he is driven by a passion to eventually pay it forward to the next generation of audio engineers. 🎧

Carlos gives his endless gratitude to his family, friends, mentors, and WSU community who supported him every step of the way. 🎶✨

✈️ Next stop: London! Recent Wichita State University graduate Yasmin Plascencia is heading to the iconic Abbey Road Institute this fall to study Music Production and Sound Engineering. 🎧

🌾While she initially arrived at WSU undecided, finding Audio Production allowed Yasmin to turn a lifelong, secret passion into her career. She will be spending the next four months freelancing and creating music in Wichita before making the big move. 🎶

🖥 Tiahna Padilla has successfully blended her passion for technology and storytelling, earning dual degrees in Computer Engineering and Animation from Wichita State University. ✨

🌉 This summer, she'll be heading to San Francisco for an IT internship with Industrial Light & Magic, where she'll support the technology behind incredible VFX. Following that experience, she'll be joining the Disney College Program this fall to chase her ultimate dream of a full-time career with Disney. She can't wait to explore the San Francisco food scene, finally get back to her sketchbook for fun, and make the most of this next chapter. ✈

✨Last week, the School of Digital Arts hosted its senior practicum showcases, and it was a huge milestone for our graduating seniors! Friends and family came out to check out the incredible work, which showed off years of hard work and creativity. ✨

‼️Shocker Studios will be closed this Saturday for graduation. Starting Monday, our summer hours will be Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, and we will be closed on weekends.‼️
