Due to recent Kansas law, school districts and educators must limit social media to one-way communication with students. Since we can't always know if we're communicating with a student, we are no longer able to respond to direct messages or comment-based conversations on our social media pages.

We are excited to announce that Jessica will be our new Behavioral Health School Liaison! We can't wait to see her around the school, making connections with students and families!

This week we welcome teachers back into the building for trainings and to prep for the school year! 💙💛 2026-2027 school year ready!

🐾Introducing Staff in New Positions! Angela Dye from 2nd grade to 2nd/3rd grade ESOL Teacher!🐾

Angela Dye has been a familiar face at Colvin for quite some time and will be moving to our 2nd and 3rd grade ESOL position! We are so excited to see her in this position this year! The school year is getting closer and closer and we can't wait to see everyone!

See you tomorrow for in-person enrollment from 12 p.m.- 7 p.m.

In-person enrollment is next week, July 27-28 from 12 p.m.-7 p.m. at Colvin Elementary in the cafeteria! all kindergarten families need to enroll in person. There is an additional Ages and Stages questionnaire that parents of all kindergarten students need to complete at enrollment to pinpoint their developmental progress. See you there!

Join us Saturday 9am at Colvin for the annual Hope Wichita event for hot breakfast, snow cones, inflatables, backpacks and groceries. 👏 Thank you to our community partners, Coach Kenny and Dream Center ICT, Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, and Radiant Church Wichita. 👏 Children must be present to receive a backpack.
