The Summer Food program starts today! Free breakfasts and lunches will be offered to all children 18 years old and younger at 33 locations as part of our Summer Food Program, which runs through Friday, July 24. Learn more at usd259.org/summerfood

📚Studies show that summer reading helps children maintain and even improve their literacy skills, preventing the “summer slide,” a phenomenon where students lose some of the achievement gains they made during the school year.

📖Help your child prevent the “summer slide” by encouraging them to read 20 minutes everyday!

📚Wichita Public Library has a summer reading program that goes from May 21st-July 31st! Logging your reading can earn students prizes!

📖Pizza Hut has a summer reading program where students can earn personal pan pizzas! 🍕

📚This summer, kids in grades 1-6 earn a FREE book through the Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Program.
