“I never considered joining a sorority. It’s always been very difficult for me to make friends because I’m outgoing and not many people like that. I got a message from GPHI on instagram asking if I wanted to COB. I accepted because I took this as an opportunity to possibly find my college friends. The second I walked into the house I felt so warm and welcomed. I’ve made lasting friendships here already in the short period of time I’ve been in GPHI. I love it and I wouldn’t change my decision on joining a sorority.“ - Mercedes S.

“Being a member of Gamma Phi these past three years has been such a privilege. My “why gphi” is definitely the friendships I have gained. From having friends that will drop everything and come hangout with you to friends that will make sure I stay on top of my school work. I never thought joining a sorority would lead me to life long friends like everyone says. But I can say that I have found not just my “college friends” but my friends I will have for a lifetime. I could not imagine my life if I did not join Gphi.“ -Audrey T.

Roll the credits !! 🎓
Seniors - congratulations on your graduation and completing your time as collegiate women in Gamma Phi Beta! Being a sorority woman requires commitment, tenacity, and dedication but it repays exponentially in love, friendship, and enlightenment. Much like your sorority experience, you are likely to get out of your future endeavors what you put into them. Wishing you all the best and excited to see where your futures take you. IIKE. - Autumn

“I went through primary recruitment my freshman year, and Gamma Phi Beta was my top choice from the moment I stepped into our house. From the very beginning, I felt genuine love and connection from the women I met. I remember being hesitant to go through recruitment at all, wondering if sorority life was really for me.
Over the past two years, Gamma Phi Beta has shown me exactly why this is my home. Gamma Phi has given me the opportunity to be authentically myself while serving first as a chairwoman and now as a member of our executive council. Through these roles I’ve gained incredible leadership experience, but even more importantly, I’ve gained sisters.
Growing up as an only child, I never imagined what it would feel like to have over 40 sisters. Now, I can’t imagine life without them. The women of Gamma Phi Beta welcomed me with open arms and continually reminded me that this isn’t just where I joined a sorority, it’s where I found my home.” - Karley F.

“Before coming to WSU, I never saw myself in a sorority. But when my mom and family friend encouraged me to go through recruitment, I absolutely fell in love with rhe experience. I knew it was the chapter for me because the values of Love, Labor, Learning, and Loyalty have always been ones I uphold in my daily life. Building up strong girls has also always been so important to me because I want to help empower the next generation of women as well as my sisters. Gamma Phi Beta has given me so many leadership opportunities such as the Education Vice President for Gphi and Director of Recruitment Counselors for the Panhellenic Executive Council. I am so grateful for these positions and I never would have received them if I hadn’t been a part of this amazing organization. This sisterhood and the Panhellenic community has done so much for me and has been such an amazing support system that I am forever thankful for. To anyone thinking about going through primary recruitment, I cannot recommend it more. Going Greek has been the best decision I have ever made! 🩷” - Bella A.
