Washington Elementary School

Week 1 of Summer STEALTH was full of enrichment, career exploration, and STEM activities! We enjoyed a visit from the Wichita Public Library's Book Bus and Master Gardening Volunteers! We also ended the week with our traditional Houses and Water Day!! ☀️💦📚

Washington has 9 students this year that made it to school EVERY SINGLE DAY! We are so proud of them! Today we took a limousine to Picasso’s Pizza and walked to Milk Float for ice cream. We all had a GREAT time!! ❤️

It was so much fun to have Seniors come back to Washington today to walk their elementary school halls one more time! ❤️ Congratulations to you all!

Free breakfasts and lunches will be offered to all children 18 years old and younger at 33 locations in Wichita as part of the WPS Summer Food Service Program. Washington Elementary is one of the locations. The free breakfast/lunch program begins Wednesday, May 27, and runs through Friday, July 24. The free meals are available to all children, regardless of which school district they attend and not just students who receive free/reduced meals during the school year.
