📸 LOOK WHAT WE FOUND!
These photos from a project at Gammon Elementary in 1996 are a little piece of Arts Partners history and a reminder that we’ve been bringing professional artists and real, technical arts experiences into Wichita classrooms for 30 YEARS. 🎨✨
For three decades, students have been making, experimenting, learning new skills, and working alongside professional artists. And while the art itself is incredible, what happens along the way is just as important: confidence, collaboration, problem-solving, creative thinking, and the joy of making something with your own hands.
30 YEARS. That’s three decades of artists, educators, students, and communities creating together. ❤️
Do you recognize this project—or yourself? 👀
If you went to Gammon Elementary, worked there, taught this project, or know someone who did, we’d LOVE to hear from you! Tell us what you remember or share your story in the comments or send us a message. We’d love to reconnect with a little piece of our history. 🥹
Here’s to 30 years of making art, making connections, and making a difference. 🎨
