We are SO proud of their growth as educators over the last two years and we are SO thankful for our amazing mentors who have lead them and supported them every step of the way. Connections, community and strong personal relationships continue to be at the center of all things T2T!💛🖤

WSU School of Teaching and Learning (Department)
WSU College of Education
Since 1926, education has been central to the work of our college.
As the College of Applied Studies at Wichita State University marks its centennial, it is honoring its origins by returning to its original name: the College of Education. The name change took effect March 1 and coincides with the college’s 100th year. The update reflects the college’s historical identity and its current academic focus on education and related professional fields.
What began with two professors and about two dozen students has grown into a college serving nearly 2,400 students. Students gain hands-on experience through applied learning opportunities in classrooms, schools, clinics and community organizations across Kansas and beyond.

First-year T2T teacher Ryan Adelson is doing GREAT things at Bluestem High School and making a positive impact in his school community! From earning a Teacher of the Month honor, to leading the Bluestem Scholars Bowl team to a first place finish in the Tri-Valley league, to allowing students to give him multiple temporary tatoos on "Tat A Teacher" day. We are so proud of Ryan and the way he celebrates success and encourages growth!💛🖤
