Designed for families, caregivers, educators, and anyone supporting young children, this resource offers practical tools and guidance to help children prepare for a successful transition to kindergarten. Topics include social-emotional development, early literacy, health and wellness, independence, and more.

☀️🎡 What a fantastic day at FutureFest!

This past Sunday, Child Start was thrilled to join families from across our community at FutureFest during Wichita Riverfest, hosted by Wichita Festivals Inc. (WFI), and supported by the City of Wichita- Government. We loved connecting with children and caregivers, sharing information about our early childhood programs, and providing hands-on STEAM activities, sensory play, prizes, and family fun!

A huge thank-you to everyone who stopped by our booth, spun the prize wheel, explored our activities, and learned more about how Child Start helps children and families thrive from the very beginning. Events like FutureFest give us a wonderful opportunity to build connections, celebrate learning, and share resources that support our community's youngest learners!

We’re grateful to Wichita Riverfest, Wichita Festivals Inc. (WFI), and City of Wichita- Government for creating spaces where families can learn, play, and grow together. 💚
