Our Students had a blast with thestemusic

We’re officially airborne! Thanks to the Wichita State University Engineering Ambassadors for helping get our simulator up and flying.

So proud of our 4th/5th grade choir for participating in such a special recording experience on May 19th with Roy Moye III from STEMusic! They recorded vocals for the chorus of his upcoming song Airplane Controls—coming out in June. What an amazing opportunity for our students!

Our 5th graders hit the court last week for an exciting basketball showdown against the staff! From tip-off to the final buzzer, both students and staff had an absolute blast, sharing plenty of laughs, teamwork, and school spirit along the way. It was a fun-filled event that everyone will remember!

As we wrap up another wonderful school year, we’re excited to share our final newsletter filled with lots of photos and special memories from the past few weeks. It has been such a joy watching our students learn, grow, and celebrate together throughout the year!

We are incredibly grateful to our amazing parents and families for helping make Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week so special. Your thoughtful notes, generous donations, treats, gifts, and kind words meant so much to our teachers and staff. The support and encouragement you showed throughout the week reminded us how fortunate we are to be part of such a caring and supportive school community.

Our teachers and staff work hard each day to create a positive, engaging, and nurturing environment for our students, and your appreciation helped make them feel truly valued. Wichita Public Schools is exploring a potential November bond proposal and wants to hear from you!

Based on community and staff input, WPS has developed a list of possible school improvement projects—and now they’re seeking additional community feedback.

Mueller will be hosting a come-and-go feedback session 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, April 15, where you can ask questions, provide feedback and try the Build a Bond tool to design your own project proposal.
