Northfield Academy is a 6th -12th grade Liberal Arts school located near Friends University in Wichita.

A Northfield graduation ceremony is steeped in tradition and is a fitting tribute to the graduates and the education they have received. On May 22nd, we honored the achievements of our seven graduates with speech, song, and bagpipe procession. Congratulations to the class of 2026-- we are so proud of you!

Tomorrow's the day! Northfield's graduation ceremony is tomorrow night at 7 pm at University Friends Church, across the street from the school. Join us as we send our graduates off with all the traditions... including bagpipes!

On our trip to Bentonville, we gave the students plenty of time to explore the beautiful grounds around Crystal Bridges Museum of Art. In fact, we deliberately timed the trip to be there when the dogwood trees were blooming and everything was at peak spring beauty. The students quickly immersed themselves in the forests and streams, playing and exploring. It was one of the best parts of our trip. One of our favorite things about Northfield is the ability we have as a small school to be flexible like this and to be able to put opportunities like this in front of our students.
