We've made it to Atlanta for the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference!

Kayden has already started in on his state office meetings and Jolie, Sophia and Phoebe are checked in for Courtesy Corps!

The last project to roll out of the shop for the 2025-26 school year.

These small garden sheds were ordered by one of our East High teachers and the proceeds will help fund our SkillsUSA Courtesy Corps team at Nationals in Atlanta!

The 3rd annual SkillsUSA Senior Signing Night was a huge success tonight as industry partners came together to recognize and honor the achievements of 11 outstanding seniors! Students were recognized for earning OSHA 10 and NCCER certifications as well as being awarded a SkillsUSA cord to wear at graduation next Wednesday!

AGC of Kansas and Build Up Kansas sponsored the food from When Pigs Fly BBQ. One of our local SkillsUSA officers, Tysheala Washington, made the desserts. Conco Construction, Dondlinger Construction, Icon Structures and WSU Tech pulled off some amazing door prizes and Midwest Drywall awarded one lucky senior with a $500 scholarship to WSU Tech!

Our program wouldn't be a success without these amazing industry partners that are all in when it comes to supporting our students!

I'll miss this group of seniors but I am so excited to see them go off and have successful careers in the skilled trades!

River City Painting lent their expertise on Thursday to help our Blue Aces ready one of our sheds for painting, with Josh focusing on caulking and Britt delivering a tutorial on sprayer maintenance.

Industry partnerships like these are helping to build our future workforce!

The shed was painted on Friday and will be delivered to Rockwood Pool this coming Tuesday!
