Proud Moments with CosmoShox & Micro-G team 2026

At the Open Xr Lab, we are working on ideas and solutions to help astronauts interact more easily with complex systems during space missions 🚀

This year, we had the chance to present our work at GRASP, URCAF, and the HFES Symposium.

The HFES Symposium is a great event focused on human factors and improving how people interact with technology, and the CosmoShox team had the opportunity to participate.

We’re super excited that oral presentation at HFES won the People’s Choice Award!

Also, at URCAF, the Micro-G team won 1st place in the National Science & Engineering category!

These experiences were amazing opportunities to share our work, learn from others, and grow together as a team 💫
Excited to keep going!

You don’t need to be a genius to contribute to STEM.

The Micro G had the opportunity to interview John Cranston and discuss his career journey, work in aerospace research, and his impact on STEM outreach.

Here are 3 key takeaways from our conversation:

1️⃣ Your background doesn’t define your impact
2️⃣ Surround yourself with the right people
3️⃣ Build a legacy by sharing knowledge

A powerful reminder that impact comes from curiosity, collaboration, and purpose—not perfection.

It's Lunch time at the Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Forum. Our undergraduates presented their research and deserve a break before the rest of super friday.

Es hora de almorzar en el Foro de Investigación y Actividad Creativa de Pregrado. Nuestros estudiantes universitarios han presentado sus investigaciones y se merecen un descanso antes del resto del superviernes.
