🚨Midterm Scheduling Reminders🚨

Midterms are HERE! 😨Help us help YOU by reading the reminders below!

Please remember to schedule midterms in advance. If you schedule using "Instructor/Class Not Listed," please forward your confirmation email to [email protected] with the course number and prefix and instructor's name (example: ENGL 104 with Davey Jones). Without this information ahead of time, we are left scrambling for your exam, and it may affect testing times.

Do not schedule under a course you are not testing for. This creates confusion.

Also, MATH MIDTERMS are categorized under "Exams/Quizzes" on RegisterBlast. If you cannot find your exam, please schedule under "Instructor/Class Not Listed" and follow the instructions above.

City of Wichita Boil Water Advisory: Avoid Campus Drinking Fountains and Bottle-Filling Stations

(WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 2026 — 9:12 a.m.)

The City of Wichita boil water has issued an advisory for Wichita water customers following a disruption at the City's water treatment system. Out of an abundance of caution, Wichita State University is advising students, faculty and staff not to use campus drinking fountains or bottle-filling stations until further notice.

Wichita State is actively monitoring the situation and will provide updates as additional information becomes available.

Faculty and staff are asked to place signs on drinking fountains and bottle-filling stations in their areas indicating that they should not be used until the advisory is lifted.

Expect interruptions in food and beverage services on campus. There will be free bottled water available at the Rhatigan Student Center. For the latest updates and information, please check this page.

Important back to school testing reminders!

Back to School Testing Reminders
1. Jackets with hoods or pockets are not permitted in exam rooms. Sweaters or sweatshirts without hoods or pockets are fine.
2. Schedule appointments at least three workdays prior to arriving at the testing center. For midterms and finals, please schedule 7 to 14 days ahead of time.
3. Appointments under "Instructor/Class Not Listed" - forward the confirmation email to [email protected] with exam information (example: MATH 111 with Davey Jones).
